LoloBuy Shipping Research Guide: What to Check Before You Submit a Parcel
Shipping information should be researched against the current parcel, destination and account screen; a general route description or another buyer’s quote is not a final quote for your order.
Separate product research from parcel research
The listing price is not the final delivered amount. Keep product cost, domestic movement, optional services, international shipment and destination charges as separate questions. Set an all-in limit before moving ahead.
Record the details that change a quote
A useful parcel note includes destination, items, visible weight or dimensions, selected service choices, date and the exact account screen. A line available for one parcel may not be offered for another one with different characteristics.
Do not promise customs or delivery dates
Customs, carrier handling, rules and timing can change. Use conditional language and check the live options before submitting. An independent guide should never present a generic calculation as a guaranteed route, price or arrival date.
Make a final current-screen check
Before you submit, confirm the chosen destination, parcel contents, shown options and charges on the current account screen. Preserve a record so you can see what changed rather than relying on memory or a copied screenshot.
